A BIG part of neurotypical communication is that its illegal to admit or say the rules explicitly, so it can be very hard to deduce. I read A Field Guide to Earthlings by Ian Ford and it really helped confirm a lot of observations I’ve made. Its tricky because its like any marginalized group where like women are forced to learn about how men work and POC are forced to learn how white people work but it doesn’t go the other way around and indeed often the marginalized group knows more about the dominant group than the dominant group knows about themselves. So theres just very little out there so far. So long as being honest and ethical is seen as a disability (“autism”), we’re going to keep seeing frameworks like “NDs dont understand because theyre disordered”, rather than more liberationary stuff like you might see amongst feminists and anti-racists
