it's evident that maintaining a good @cursor_ai .cursorrules file in every engineering team will elevate coding standards far more effectively than linting rules and lengthy standards docs nobody reads and yes o1 is -far- better at following these rules, no question. Slower, but better, and that tradeoff is fine in human/in-IDE timescales. one wonders... can we also use them to review code? should we bother?
