Your mother is a famously beautiful, rich, and spirited heiress. Mother goes to war against father; sons join her side. Afterward your brothers go to war against each other and you vying for parts of the kingdom. You're supposed to get married to a French princess, but your father's having an affair with her. The King of France gladly steps in to meddle, who happens to be the son of your mother's former husband. This book is very good so far.
