2025-08-28This is also how I lost faith in many ~rationalist types. People who have been deep into rationality for years but respond to conflicts with severe avoidance or trigger. What’s rationality even for if you fail at one of the most important human skills?
Chris Lakin@chrislakin2025-08-17When I discover someone handles conflicts well, I respect & trust them like 3x more. Being able to be in conflict without getting triggered OR being a pushover (which leads to outbursts and avoidance long-term) is extremely attractive, I want you in my life
