@mckaywrigley - Some are asking for that starter app link so here it is

My friend wanted to learn to code.
Bought him 1mo of ChatGPT Pro and sent a GitHub link to my starter repo.
Didn’t hear on progress - figured he quit.
Turns out he just asks o1 pro endless questions and now his AI invoice app is at $3k MRR.
AI + coding in 2025 is *very* real.

He works in sales and sells to friends and connections in-network.
This is honestly super replicable if you’re high-agency.
Spend 1-2hrs every night using o1 pro to build a tool in your industry that you *know* people would buy.
With AI the skill acquisition happens VERY fast.

We might do a livestream this weekend on X because his story is actually super cool and I think hearing from him would be super helpful to others who want to do similar things.
I never ask this but can you guys like this reply so I can show him people want to learn from him :)

Getting enough DMs about this that I’ll share this.
You can *absolutely* learn just from the above linked repo!
But this may accelerate some of those who are more serious about it.
100% Cursor refresh on Saturday, and Spark tutor in a few days :)

Mckay Wrigley@mckaywrigley:@PeteroETH Yeah we have a “building full-stack apps” track and I told him 2 go through these 1st 2 sections. It’s based on what that OSS repo I linked in replies has in it. Left this out of the post bc I didn’t want to make the story an ad lol

Still trying to convince him to do a stream.
But what I could 100% do is a breakdown video of that starter repo and explain the decisions/structure and how I think you should approach building off of it.
I think a lot of beginners may land on it and go “ok now what?”.
Anyone?

It’s just a GitHub link that’s open sourced and MIT licensed so no paywalls haha
(peep the Cursor rules btw!)
