i think my agi recommended reading is still the same thing it has been for the past few years or so, but at this point i'm happy to double down on my confidence that a lot of the early LW crowds have pretty much nailed everything that has happened the last five years.

i suppose if one had to watch content picking dwarkesh would be correct, but keep in mind the largest social function served here is to take content which has been ingroup-constant for many years and move it into a broader audience. very valuable, but i'd still read stuff myself

i guess the other interesting thing is in some areas soft-alignment was much easier than most of us expected it to be, including myself, but it seems like we have completely failed hard-alignment and basically don't care, so the usual human dis-empowerment fun should start later?
