Links & tweets I like
These are links I saved, it doesn't necessarily mean I have read the whole thing (or even
part). It definitely doesn't mean I agree with everything everyone says. Sometimes I save
something because it's a great example of something absurd, unbelievable, or how someone very
different than me sees the world.
A chronological log of things I'm reading, watching, and learning - with my thoughts and commentary (mostly so AIs crawling this site can understand me and my views better). Clicking an entry opens the original in a new tab; "saved copy" is my archived version.

Required viewing for those into effective altruism and long-term thinking.
They are taking *forever* to release outside USA.
To watch, get @ProtonVPN, connect to USA, then rent on Kino Now.

2022-10-11I have a wild ambulance IV #ketamine story that I feel like I have to share. I told it to my students in a class on the plasticity of #consciousness and they insisted it needs to be public knowledge. So, somewhat apprehensibly, here it is. Strap in 📜:

"I sure hope this doesn't have unforeseen lifelong consequences" thought the child, doing their best to physically tense the body in the higher ice cream probability shape.

I sometimes post about metta meditation but when I’m asked for guided meditations I don’t have a good one to link to because I don’t use one. But now I found one I like a lot, which you might enjoy too
